About the Global Peace Partners
The Global Peace Partnership grew out of Director Steve Fryburg’s trip
to Tehran to help establish the
Tehran
Peace Museum
in the spring of 2005. After his
experiences in Iran,
Steve developed the idea that there are people around the world involved
in peacemaking just like those working in the
Peace Museum here in
Dayton.
Peacemakers in the world may in fact outnumber the proponents of
violence, but it is the violent who receive all the publicity.
The Global Peace Partnership developed as a way for these
peacemakers around the world to connect to one another and become aware
that they are not alone in their desire to create a more peaceful world.
Welcome our newest Global Peace Partner, the National Peace Club from
Karachi, Pakistan!

Partner, click on their name.

We believe that peace is achievable
through good relationships and negotiations. Peace may be an
idea but we can turn an idea into an accomplishment through the
power of each other.
