About The Peace and Conflict Resolution Organization

The Peace and Conflict Resolution Organization was founded in 2004 in Bukavu South Kivu in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Pastor Samuel Muderhwa and his wife Faida started the organization despite the chaos caused by wars in the Congo. Pastor Samuel and his family began the organization in Nairobi, Kenya due to being exiled there from the wars raging in the Congo.

PCR is not a political organization and a registered non-profit organization with the Division of Justice and Human Rights from the Justice of Ministry in D.R. Congo. PCR aims to create peaceful reconciliation for broken families and to educate and promote others to act truthfully and responsibly to help break the cycle of poverty.

PCR's Vision

PCR strives to proclaim peace among people in the East of the D.R. of Congo as well as the whole country of Africa. PCR hopes to free all from inhumane circumstances and to empower communities to take charge of their own destiny. Education is key to PCR's aims, specifically to the future leaders of the world as well as networking between those striving for peaceful reconciliation and those living in areas of conflict.
