About Lok Vehar Development OrganizationThe Lok Vehar Development Organization was founded in 2000 when a group of "like-minded" people came together to start working to educate others about relevant issues. Lok Vehar organizes seminars, workshops, and discussions with school children. They also support essay writing, art, peace songs and peace plays. Additionally, Lok Vehar works with Sikh Resource and Study center to create a study circle for children. Located in Faisalabad, Pakistan, Lok Vehar is involved with many local and national groups working for peace. DIfferent religions and races work together within Lok Vehar and it is recognized in the National Peace Committee through the government of Pakistan. Lok Vehar currently works with Action Aid, the Christian Study Center, Tanzeem lasani Sarkar, the Bahi Community, the Haray Rama Hindu Organization, URI, Shia Ithad, Awaza Niswan and another of the Dayton International Peace Museum's Global Peace Partners, the STAR Organization.
